What brought you to Spartan Rides? |
The Veteran aspect of the store. We love to take care of Veterans and our First Responders. It's not just the discount we offer. We offer support in any way possible for them. Be it a loaner bike, a group ride or just an ear to listen. We got your back. |
What is your favorite thing about working in the bike industry? |
The fun.. It rarely feels like a job. I get to work with my friends. I get to put people on bikes and see the fun it brings to their lives. |

What brought you to Spartan Rides? |
I knew JR from his days at another shop and I know he was passionate about owning his own shop. As soon as I found out he was opening a shop with his wife I joined the crew. |
What is your favorite thing about working in the bike industry? |
Seeing people progress and build their talents as they upgrade and dial their bikes to the type of riding they love. |

What was your first bike? |
First bike worth caring about is my Surly Disc Trucker retrofitted into a dumb 90’s mountain/gravel ripper. |
What is your dream bike? |
Probably a custom steel or ti hard tail build. Steel is real, baby. |
What brought you to Spartan Rides? |
I wanted to find a shop to work at that valued my work and had a good crew. Spartan has been a ton of fun and has a lot of cool stuff going on. Also, Bubba the dog. |
What is your favorite thing about working in the bike industry? |
Every day is fun. Yes, there's stressful, busy days, but every day is filled with sweet bikes and lots of joking around. |

What brought you to Spartan Rides? |
I started off as a customer, finally dipping my toes into the addictive world of mountain biking after doing some dirt track BMX. The environment, owners and people who work here kept me coming back, and eventually I joined the team! |
What is your favorite thing about working in the bike industry? |
Being able to help others, especially those who are new to biking. There's nothing better than helping customers make the best educated choice they can and hearing their stories of improvement and learning experiences. |
